This is the POTD Timeline

  1. Day 1 anytime during the 24 hours you enter a photo into the POTD
  2. Day 2 your entery is rateable for 24 hours
  3. Day 3 all photos with less then 10 ratings(will soon be 8) are rateable on day 3
  4. Photos with more then 10 ratings(soon to be 8) are scored and a winner choosen

If a photo does not get the required number of ratings it could be in "Day 2" status for 2, mabey 3 days. Also during the rating period you will not see your own photos.
