| Due to financial & time constraints I can no longer support FotoFanatic.com. I'm sorry for this abrupt, unforeseen ending but I just have cut my losses at this point. Its been mostly a great 8 year run and I have loved looking at all the photos.

| I was looking thru the December Contests today and noticed that its the 18th and none of the categories have 16 entries. This is the first month of bringing back the paid contest and I have not done the best to advertise it.
So Get you entries into the contest, remember any member can purchase additional entries (even Level 1 Members). |

| I will be giving out 1-month service extension(of current level) every month to one member who excels at rating the POTD and Monthly Contest Photos. If you are level 1, you will receive 1 months of level 2 membership.
Who Qualifies: 1. Rate at least 150 photos during the previous month. 2. Photos with 8 ratings or more are considered for the calculation below. 3. Which ever member's ratings for every photo are closest to the average rating of each photo will win the free service. For November, the winner is Julie Mavros. You still have 1/2 month to get 150 ratings to be December's winner! FYI, just rating to rate will not win you this prize. It's based on how close you rated each photo to the average rating it received from everyone. |

| I'm starting a new policy: Any existing member who refers a new member and the new member becomes a Level 2 or 3, I will extend the current membership of the existing member by 1 month.
There is no limit, so every member you refer gets you 1 month free! Just send me a message through the 'Contact' page under 'Help', and I will credit your account. |

| With the start of the December Contests, cash prizes are back! The amount of the cash prizes are based on the number of Level 2 & 3 Members who participate. See the Payout page under Contests Menu.
Also, if you’re a Level 1 member, or you use all of your contest entries, you can now purchase entries for the Monthly Contests. The cost is $1.50 per entry ($3 after the 15th day of the month). |

| I'm bring back the monthly contest prizes. I will be creating some new service levels for people that want to pay but don't want to participate in the monthly contest.
The prizes will start at $15 for 1st, $10 for 2nd and $5 for 3rd. The prizes will be on sliding scale, so as more people pay to participate the prizes will go up! I plan to make the changes starting December 1st. |

| I have noticed some speed issues with the hosting, I'm looking at some other options for the website. Just an FYI when I choose a new host and move the website, it will take at least 24 hours to move all the photos to a new host, during that time I will have to disable uploads. |

| I'm having a problem with uploading to the website, its works until around 1-2 pm pacific time and then the server resets around 1am pacific time. So get your uploads in early, I have a support request in with the hosting company and hope to have the issues resolved shortly. |

| I'm going on Vacation for a week, I'm leaving on Friday morning and will be back the following Saturday. I will be checking FAQ/email and that's it. So if something is really broken send me an email, I don't expect anything to, It looks like all the really big bugs have been squished! |

| Well there was a huge bug in the way the weights were being calculated, I have fixed it and recalculated all the ratings. I also have recalculated today's POTD Contest because of the Bug. |

| When I built the new website I built a rating weight system. I enabled it today and you will notice the rating weight in the table.
Most users get a weight of 1, users that rate way off get set to 0 (ratings don't factor) and users that rate really close to the average (per photo) get a weight of 2. Check the FAQ for more Info. |
