Your photo in digitized form can be entered into any of this month's categories. Membership in FotoFanatic.com is required for entry.

To enter, visit our web site at http://www.fotofanatic.com. All entries not complying with the rules will be disqualified. Online entries will be accepted for each month’s categories through the end of that posted month.

Entries must be submitted online as JPEG files in accordance with the instructions given at http://www.fotofanatic.com. Entries which are digitally enhanced, manipulated or a composite of multiple images must be based on and composed exclusively of the entrant's original photos or photo or other works for which the entrant is the copyright holder.

Images which are judged to be primarily computer illustrations rather than photo-based work will be disqualified.

Each entrant is allowed to enter images up to their maximum allowed each month. The maximum allowed is based on the selected service level. For information on service levels, please see our Member Benefits page.

All images must be original photographs, all rights in which are the property of the contestant.

Entrants are giving permission for their photographs to be displayed on FotoFanatic.com for the purposes of online voting related to the submissions and/or for display within the photo forums. No photograph will be displayed or reproduced for any reason after the designated contest is over, with the following exceptions: 1) Winning photographs may be displayed on the FotoFanatic contest web site in the archived winners files for a period of one year, to facilitate public review of the winners. A photo credit will be provided on all reproductions. Additional permission will be sought from any other contestant before their images can be used in any medium other than our web sites. Copyright of the image remains the property of the contestant.

Contestant acknowledges that they have sufficient written permission of any recognizable models or other persons appearing in the photograph to be able to grant to FotoFanatic.com the right to publish their photographic submission online, and hereby grant to FotoFanatic.com such right.

FotoFanatic is not responsible for lost or misdirected entries.

Only one prize will be awarded to each immediate family/household in each contest category.

Prizes awarded are cash prizes, which can only be paid through the member’s PayPal account. These cash prizes can then be used for any PayPal affiliated site, including future membership in FotoFanatic.com. No other form of disbursement for prize monies is allowed. In the case of a winner not having a PayPal account, the winner understands that no prize money will be paid.

Entries must be received between the dates shown on the website for each contest cycle (no exceptions).

Prizes will be awarded only to those qualified individuals identified on the registration form.

FotoFanatic.com employees and their immediate families are not eligible.

This offer is void where prohibited by law. No purchase necessary to enter.

Contestants must be 18 years or older, or of such greater age as is required by law.

This contest is governed by the laws of the State of Washington, exclusive of conflict of laws provisions.

Any dispute relating to this contest and to these official rules and regulations shall be resolved in and by the state or federal courts sitting in King County, Washington, USA. Contestants consent irrevocably to the jurisdiction and venue of such courts.

Contestant hereby confirms that his or her entry and the publication thereof do not violate the copyright laws of the U.S. or any other jurisdiction.

Any photo complying with the rules can win! Prints will be judged on content and overall composition. A picture from any type of camera can win.

Judging will take place the week the contest closes and winning photos will be posted on the web site upon completion of voting.

The winners will be notified by email, at the email address provided on the winner’s registration. While every reasonable effort will be made to contact each winner, in the event that email address supplied by the contestant is incorrect, FotoFanatic is not responsible should the prize go unclaimed. By signing this document, winner agrees to release and hold harmless FotoFanatic.com, all sponsors, their respective employees and representatives from all claims or actions, they, their heirs, executors or assigns may have arising directly or indirectly from the contest, or receipt or use of the prize.

By entering the contest, you agree to be bound by these rules and to accept as final all decisions of Judges. Neither FotoFanatic.com, its sponsors or one of the judges will be liable: 1) for any omission, loss, damage, delay, illegibility, alteration of, or unauthorized access to entries submitted online 2) for any erroneous, garbled, interrupted or failed transmissions 3) for any loss or injury to person or property (including the equipment, systems or data of entrants or others) from participating in the contest, visiting any of its related web sites or receiving and using the prize, whether due to technical problems or human error. Judges reserve the right to disqualify anyone who, in their opinion, has tampered with or disrupted the entry process or operation of the contest or violated these rules.

Any attempt to damage any web site or disrupt this contest may violate both criminal and civil laws and will be prosecuted to the fullest extend of such laws. If the contest cannot be run as planned for any reason, including computer viruses, tampering, technical or other problems which damage its operation or integrity. Judges reserve the right to cancel, curtail, modify or suspend it.

FotoFanatic.com will, within its sole discretion, select the judges for the contest. The decision of the judges will be final and binding.

Judges can disqualify any entry for reasons of taste, within their sole discretion. Pornographic material will be considered unacceptable.

Any category that has less then 30 Photos and/or less then 10 unique participates at the ending of the monthly contest will be disqualified and stricken from the system.
